We are looking for an experienced Senior SQL Developer to join our Data & Analytics practice. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, and ETL processes, and will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise database solutions, reporting, and integration strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions for high-volume transactional systems.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain SSIS packages for seamless ETL across multiple systems and platforms.
• Build and manage SSRS reports and dashboards ensuring performance, accuracy, and user accessibility.
• Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements.
• Lead the design and implementation of data integration strategies supporting enterprise data warehousing and BI initiatives.
• Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot database and ETL performance issues.
• Maintain data quality and integrity through validation checks and exception handling processes.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and best practices enforcement.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all database and ETL processes.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server development and administration.
• Expert-level knowledge in SSIS, SSRS, and ETL design and development.
• Proficient in writing and optimizing complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture, data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema), and data marts.
• Proven experience in integrating data from heterogeneous data sources (flat files, APIs, third-party databases).
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Familiarity with source control systems (Git, TFS) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, AWS RDS, Snowflake).
• Exposure to DevOps for database development (CI/CD pipelines).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with SSAS or other OLAP tools is a plus.
